What you don't know about is that all seventeen of the other Korean guys in Birmingham have to contend with this too.

That is what makes this medium more powerful than “traditional print” and could be one reason the traditional powers-that-be are so anxious over blogging in general.

Not so much anxious as generally clueless.

When I get groupies, none of this will matter. Because I will have groupies.

Wade... I'll bet that will begin to happen more in the local market because of your blogging. Plus, you are even brave enough to post your photo like a "real journalist." :-)

Regarding people approaching you out in public, I think it's the whole celebrity thing... people think they know you because they read what you have to say. Well, in the blogosphere we get to look even deeper into your mind's eye. You aren't subject to an editor making an assignment, trimming your story to fit into oh so few available column inches, or killing a story because of a late breaking murder. Therefore... we can hear what you really mean to say, the way you want to say it, and when you wish to say it. That is what makes this medium more powerful than "traditional print" and could be one reason the traditional powers-that-be are so anxious over blogging in general.

I think your father taught you well. I'm sure he'd be proud to read your post today. I only hope my children someday have the same respect for my example as you have for your father's. Keep up the good work!
