I doubt any new daily newspaper will rise up to challenge it. Maybe a few suburban papers will nibble away at the edges, like in other markets. The News already faces competition from, but not limited to: TV, radio, Internet, free papers, podcasts and apathy. Do you think it would be important? I was just discussing with my wife the other night that I see the news world in for some serious changes over the next decade, and it concerns me.
