You're welcome -- glad you found my site. Keep up the good work in New Orleans, and I'll see you in March.

Hey wade,

I stumbled on your site while I was searching for Hands On New Orleans pictures. I'm not sure if you remember me, I am on the staff of HONO and we had the chance to chat the night before you left.

Anyway, I absolutely love the part in this entry where you wrote:
"The community represents various walks of life, but with little regard for wealth, class, gender or race.

You’re defined by your work ethic and your generosity."

It's so true! The first time I read it I had to hold back tears. I had never really thought about that before.

Thank you for your insight! I hope all is well in Birmingham! Looking forward to your next trip back!

One of my stories to be told will be about political season in New Orleans. Stay aware, stay active, stay true.

You are young. Remember what you have seen in my hometown and be active in your political community. Don't let what happened to us happen to you. We never thought this would happen. We were too laid back about politics. I am 52 and will never be politically lazy again . It is too important. Thank you for your help.
