I’m going to Blog World 2009!
By Wade KwonBack in September, I went to Blog World in Las Vegas, the second gathering of pros and wannabes to discuss and improve blogging. I had a great time and learned quite a bit (went to eight sessions in eight timeslots), but didn’t do two things:
- Network. That was me being anti-social and shy. I missed out.
- Present. I applied, but didn’t make the cut.
But I’ll be going Oct. 15-17, because …
I won a free pass to Blog World 2009!
I received a Direct Message via Twitter last night:
“so you were one of the winners of a free pass this year for filling out our seminar eval form. I just found out ystrdy”
Thank you, Blog World Expo! I can’t wait to go back, and bring more Birmingham bloggers with me.
I’ve been trading e-mail Rick Calvert, co-founder of Blog World, lately for an unrelated (but to-be-posted) matter, so I’ve already been thinking ahead to this year’s convention. I’m still applying to be a speaker. And I plan to make the most of networking (hey, I did a little bit here and there).
And, of course, I plan on hitting the seminars, and filling out the evaluation forms, always with thorough and constructive comments.
Because, you never know …
