Will newspapers factor into the future of journalism?
I served as a panelist for a Society of Professional Journalists event in April, a town hall on media credibility.
The video above features segments captured by University of Alabama assistant professor of journalism (and friend) George Daniels. In one clip from the town hall, I discuss how journalists might hesitate to speak up against bad newsroom practices when layoffs abound at publications.
For me, it’s a timely clip, given the number of friends facing layoffs this week or in the near future.
