World Book Night giveaway on April 23
By Wade Kwon
I have teamed up with my friends at Church Street Coffee and Books for a free book giveaway on Monday, April 23.
All you have to do is fill out this form.
It’s part of an international movement, World Book Night, aimed at turning people on to the joy of reading books.
If you are an infrequent reader, we want you to get into the habit. That’s why we’re giving away 20 copies of “The Lovely Bones” by Alice Sebold. It’s the dramatic story of teenager Susie Salmon, who watches her family and friends cope with the aftermath her violent death. (Bonus: The book includes the opening pages of Sebold’s latest book, “The Almost Moon.”)
Sign up below, and if you’re one of the first 20 to register, you’ll be notified on when to come by Church Street Coffee and Books in Mountain Brook to pick up your book and enjoy complimentary coffee on April 23. You can follow the tweets that night at #wbnamerca.
Deadline: Please fill out the form by 6 p.m. CDT Sunday, so that we may notify everyone in advance.
Note: Unclaimed books will be donated to Emmet O’Neal Library in Mountain Brook.
