And so our story begins …

I have enough to do, really.

Yet, the power of Qwerty compels me. I guess I could share a few stories while I’m at the keyboard.

I like to tell stories. That’s the Southern in me. (Emphasis on tell, not type.) But after six months of blogging on Wade on Birmingham, I was pleasantly surprised.

This is fun.

I feel blessed to have had opportunities in my life to share wild tales, vivid remembrances, stray thoughts and outright lies to readers and friends alike. All I’ve ever needed was an attentive ear (or eye). The rest is magic. Really.

So while I’ll continue writing short posts for my other blog, I start today with a new canvas, one on which I’ll paint a little bit regularly. If you don’t know me, sit a spell and I’ll ramble on. If you’ve known me a while, stick around and I’ll let you in on a few secrets.

These are the things that matter, to me anyway.

Welcome to my new blog, not quite the same as my old blog. But a big blank stretch of cyberspace for my lovely new prose garden.

Thank you for stopping by.
