Bowl for Kids Sake 2006

bowl2006progress.jpg

Bowl for Kids Sake is an annual fund-raiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham. This terrific nonprofit organization pairs boys and girls in a seven-county area with adult role models. It’s been my privilege to serve on the Young Advisory Board since 2003.

Why am I involved? Because I hate apathy.

My team, Media of Birmingham, is raising money for the group, and you can help. I raised more than $400 with the help of generous friends and neighbors. This year, my goal is $1,000.

We’re spreading the word, raising funds and getting ready to bowl on May 13. While our scores may not be high, our spirits and ambitions are.

You can donate right now — it’s easy, and it’s tax-deductible.

Thank you for your support!
